Yes, great link.. maybe i've figured out what to do with my engine mounts! (fill them with ploly!)

Only thing about that writeup is, they say (or, maybe Bruno says) that it's not a good idea to lubricate that particular bushing going in.

The jack being used to press it in is a good idea :)

Don't you just wish you had a link setup instead, like the E38/E39?! :) (hehehe)

Why not make one yourself ? I used this info from a german site. It works absolutely great and fast. Two bushings in less than an hour...

Only somewhat related, but I installed Bruno's rear subframe bushings two weeks ago: I was pleased with the improved steering response - more so because that was not the result I had expected. A great bang for the buck - and all done well within 1/2 hour.
With 90K miles on the car, I didn't think the bushings were gone; however, thanks to Bruno, the overall result is a tighter car with more linear response.
BTW, as a random thought after reading above link on the urethane stiffening of subframe replacement bushings - is it worth a try to do it 'in situ' with the installed bushings: ie., drop the bottom plates and inject the goo into the bushing from the bottom ( make a cake decorator style injector with a poly bag taped to a pipe stub). Stick a set of the 'Bruno' shims on top and bolt up. Might work - and save a nasty job for a better day ...

The measurments are not correct though and in cm´s. This drawing is for a E30 although they could be almost the same size.
