My 97 528i has been in the shop for a week now getting something called the cold start coil repaired. It shakes a little when I start it up, and sometimes it takes up to 3 attemps to get it started. The dealer told me that this was a common problem in the BMW 5 series...something he should have told me before i bought it! He also said I would have problems no matter what starting th car in the cold, because all 5series in that year have the same problem...im not sure is this true??? your help is appreciated
