How to dis-assemble front seat belt buckle?

Mine is suddenly jammed, and will not release the metal tongue. The red plastic button can only be pushed to where it is flush with the plastic buckle housing, which is not far enough to release the clasp.

Anyway, it seems that the buckle should be dis-assembled to clear the clasp mechanism.

Suggestions, please?

I had similar problem on one of my front seat buckle last year and the local dealer (canadian) told me that there was a BMW recall (security question) on those buckles, so they changed my front buckles (both) for free.

Thanks for the tip, which is excellent information.

But, until I can get to the dealer (which may take weeks), does anybody have suggestions or procedures to dis-assemble the seat belt buckle lock or at least unbuckle it?
