I have a 1990 535ia. I have a leaking power steering hose from the reservoir to the power steering pump. The fluid type lable is missing from the cap. The fluid inside appears to be orange and not red. Is this ATF or CHF 7.1? Also is it ok to drive it like this until the hose arrives? It seems like more of a mess than anything else.
I did not notice any difference the last time I drove it. When I moved the car to wash it today, I noticed oil spots. I popped the hood and oil appears to be coming from the bottom of the hose where it connects to the metal tube just before the pump.
