1989 E34 525i (M20) - White. My driver's side turn signal is cracked. I'm thinking nows the time to change from amber to clear. How much for the best or are the eBay (cheaper) ones good enough

Try BMA, they should be able to get them for you relatively cheap.

and the lens and fitment seemed fine enough. The problem lies with the rubber seal that surrounds the lens. The e-bay seal had cracked within months of installation. After an accident, I replaced both with Hellas from BMA (@ double the cost) and am much happier with the seals.

Hope it helps,

Dave M

Make sure you get E34 units NOT E36...

I bought a set of front and side clears bundled together, and 'supposedly' for an E34. The fronts fit (of course), but because the E36 unit looks the same as the E34 unit, I got sent an E36 pair!! The socket for the glkobe holder is different, and can't be easily modified. I sent them back to the seller, but I got a set the same returned... So I gave up.

The E36 ones will fit, they look perfect, and I've had no problems... Except that the globe holder wont lock into the socket on the back of the unit (I had to electrical tape mine so the globe didn't move).

Did that make sense?? :)

Made perfect sense. By the way, where did you get them? How much, if you don't mind me asking?

Im in Australia, and mine came from a seller in Bangkok... The rears are DEPO, and the front and sides are THC or TFH or something to that effect.

Factory was going to cost $640AUD full set, non-genuine cost $280AUD to my doorstep!! :)
