Anyone out has any experience with fast road cams for a S38 M5 engine ?
About three weeks ago I sold the M30 turbo engine I had build for my E30 M3 to my friend who blew his after hitting the rolling road with a broken oilpan and stupidly enough he didn' t check his oil level before trashing it to get a read out.
As M5 engine' s come relatively cheap in the Netherlands ( 2300-2700 US) I' m considering putting a S38 in but standard will not suffice. So if anyone has/had experience with the results of fast cams please let me know.I' ve heard wild stories of chipped , fast cammed and de-catted M5 developping over 350 bhp at almost 7000 rpm, but would like to hear it from you guys.

The engines are used of course, but 9out of 10 for sale offered engines can be seen and heard running and come with a 6 months warranty for breakdown or signs of wear. The last five years there have been huge amounts of import from Germany into the Netherlands. Most were former accident cars which started to rust or with crooked chassis and offered for dismanteling.
