Sport Bumper problem

Hi guys
I wonder if anyone can offer me some advice on this. I have a complete M-tech kit of side skirts, spoiler and front and rear bumpers to fit on my car, a 1989 530i SE. I noticed the other day that there is a split on the front bumper of about six inches in length, not too serious but I should like to fix it before I have the bumper sprayed up. Looks like it could be glued since it does not seem overly stressed where it is - anyone able to offer advice on a good bonding agent for this? Many thanks

i would use a fibreglass matting kit on the back of the bumper
and then put a small amount of body filler on the paint side
