Rim question...fitment?

Two 17 x 8 with 10mm offset and two 17 x 9 with 19mm offset

Will it fit my car? These are throwing stars by the way. Also, what size tires would I need?

How much are they worth too? Rims only with a few imperfections.

Yes they will fit.

Fronts should run about 225/45 while the rears should run 245/40 or 255/40

those are 850 throwing stars and the front offset (10mm) is a tad on the aggressive side, as it should be a 20mm. If your car is lowered you may be forced to mount a narrower tire than BMW suggests. I would suggest a 235/45-17 and 265/40-17 for the typical setup, but since you are installing an improper offset on the front, the choice is yours. If you do run the sizes Jon K is suggesting, you will have to add 5lbs more air in the fronts to increase the load rating of that tire as that size is NOT recommended for a car as heavy as the E34. A 225/45-17 is the stock E36 M3 tire size on the front. Hope this helps.

imo they're probably worth in the $800, +/- $100 range.

You are good, they are off of a 8 series..

With the front offset, would the rims stick out weirdly?


I think I may just pass these up. It seems too much of a hassle to get the tire sizing right and everything. If anybody is interested, I will link you to the ebay item. (i dont want to post it and have the price sky rocket). Right now it is at 560 with 2 days left.
