OT, saw a new Lotus Elise close-up today

Cool looking ride, nice stat's: 10.5 lb/hp, 0-60 4.9 sec. Maybe they'll import sufficient quantities such that they come down to an affordable price on the used market (well I can hope anyway). In the meanwhile, it shall remain a pipe dream.

There is an overpriced car retailer within a couple miles of the house that has several. They are asking $25k over the ~$43k sticker.
I don't fit in the Elise. I can cover the steering wheel with 1 hand. I love 'em.

Followed one of those through west virginia a few weeks ago, until he started going a little too fast for my liking. Then I passed him again a little later -- while he was having an encounter with a state trooper.

Kinda looks like a matchbox car in the pics to me :) No doubt it's fast...
