Tyring to look for dexron 3 synthetic fluid down under.

First time I come across a 4L bottle of any synthetic atf. It's Castrol Transmax Z, full synethetic. It cost aus$63 for 4L, from repco in kograh. they say they have plenty of it.

I haven't put it in yet, i assuming it's okay to use in the gearbox. Is this correct?

Here is their spec sheet?

What's important is what ZF recommend and according to this...
ZF List of lubricants TE-ML 11 (http://www.bimmernut.com/~billr/images/zftransfluidspecsen0701.pdf) they seem to say CASTROL TRANSMAX Z is okay.

Refer to... 'Lubricant class 11B' on page 4. ;)
