Well, this isn't my car, it's Jon K's, but since I am out of the country till the summer, I said he could run them for a week. I got them for one hell of a great deal!!! My car is the same color, so what do you guys think?

I was lucky enough to get them for only $600 with two brand new Pilot Sports and two that need to be replaced.

Sweet, love em. You are out of the country hmmm, how long, do you have wheel locks...just kidding. liquidtiger720 you are not alone. Still looking for perfect wheels for myself.

liquid,

no worries. I'm in the same "no wheels" scenario. I'm caught in the eternal debate:

Angel - old car, bought cheap. Why spend the money when the 15" wheels you have are fine...

Devil - yeah, but the 15" look old. Why not some nice new throwing stars?

The debate continues.

The wheels will be residing at my house after Jon K gets done being all 'bling bling' with them. Taking offers ;) hehehehe

RockJock, they're BBS RG's...a.k.a. Style #5 or just 5's. In some folks opinion, one of the nicest looking wheels on an E34. :D

I would guess that as the e39's become higher in miles and closer to being totaled out that these wheels will become a little bit more plentiful. The only problem I see with them in Michigan is that most of them are bent and scuffed up. Our roads suck up here.

RockJock, most #5's are E39's and thus need hub-centric rings. Mine came with the car in 95 and are an E34-specific piece...they don't have hub-centric rings...the hubs are the 72.5mm vice the E39's 74.something mm. I think you're right though about E39 wheels coming available as the E60 becomes mainstream and E39's start to bite the dust.

Cheers,
Duey
