Hi all. Wish I learned about this awesome group earlier, would have saved a lot in repair/new parts costs, that's for sure. Have had my 525ia M20 US version four years now, was well taken care of when I got it, but spent loads --enough to cause some fights with the missis, but hell, it still goes sweet. Love it when I still get compliments for her --notice a lot still like the E34 shape over the E39? I sure do. btw, it was chipped when I got it, far as I know. How do I find out what kinda chip? My next project is to redo the leather seats, maybe plunk in some rear headrests, and put in some wood. Know where I can get a good woodgrain kit and shifter knob? :)
