WOW $1500 OBO!?!? They're replica rims with Nittos, I think you'd be pressed to get $700 - 800

I could get taken on a set of Mille Miglias for $1500, i wouldn't ask for $1300 because I paid $1500. They're replica rimz broseph, they aren't going to wheel in $1500

Yup, if they replicas I can get rims for about $400 new + shipping. Jon is right man, replicas aren't OEM so don't count on big bucks. sorry man. And John could u post some pics of your wheels, how long do you have them, and how they holding up?

I think he is free to ask whatever he wants for them, they ARE his wheels afterall and he knows how much he paid for them.

If someone pays $1500 for those wheels, guess what, they are worth $1500.

You have to consider wear and tear, scratches, dents etc. Be realistic everything loses its value over time, and what would you chose brand new rims or used ones if they had same or close price. If you paid $1500 for them you can’t possibly ask same price. It doesn’t work that way. On the other hand I’m sure digndoug wants to get most of his money back from the investment he made, and I agree that is all up to him how much he wants for the wheels. But you have to be realistic too.

I am in no way trying to be an *******. If they were an original set of BBS RS 3 pc polished lip gold center and rivets, $1500 is about right. If they were a set of Rondell #67 two piece staggered 17's with tires... $1500 might be about right. But replica rims in 17"... well.... even if you did spend $1500 - $2000, you wouldn't get more than maybe 1/4 - 1/2 the price back, if lucky. No offense bro, I've been around the block.

Im being realistic. I bought the car with them, the guy just put them on. I know they do not have any more than the 3k miles I put on. They were $2000 new.. and senc they have barley anyware, and no scratches dents and pretty much no ware. I think there worth it. Im loosing $500 for 3k.. Come on. I cleaned the wheels 3 times a week. They havnt seen salt or snow or even rain.

Did you clean the wheels 3 times a week with wheel cleaner or soap and water... using wheel cleaner the finish is probably messed up, making them worth less.

I think this post is changing into a full time battle on old issue “How much?” I don’t see any point on arguing about a set of replicas. Hey if anyone buys them, fine with me, but it is a free forum and I think we have every right to post our opinions. Once again digndoug no one is ordering you, those are just our thoughts. And about the cleaner Joh all true. Guys/Gals be careful what you use on your wheels different cleaners have different results. Don’t use aggressive cleaners too often it might do some really nasty ****. Especially if they Chromed.
