My car is dinging..has anyone had this problem?

Wondering what could be causing this. The car is parked and locked, nothing on, nothing open and it will be dinging like when the door is open with the key in ignition. It keeps dinging until after car is started. Sometimes after I start the car, the ding that it gives you to put on seat belt etc...It will do it 5 or 6 times before it stops. Anyone heard of this or had this happen. I'm thinking it may be some sort of short somewhere or perhaps a fuse?

Can you see any kind of fault on the guage cluster coming on?

No fault message comes up but the speedometer, gas gauge and temp gauge stop working and the battery must be disconnected and reconnected to reset it. But the reset doesnt last long.
