I know its just a typo Shogun, but thats an E38. Also, if it is actually a 740i that person did a trans swap because I thought only the 735i "small v8" was available with a stick in europe.

Alan, of course you are right, E38.
But I only looked at the seats and got so excited :D

Now, not saying that I am THE style-police...

But that is GHASTLY!! :( :(

I see that there is still the mentality that "If it works on a Japanese-street-racer, it'll work on my luxury European Bahnstormer"

Maybe it would look ok (yeah, if it was dark, and your eyes were closed!!), if the owner had colour-coded the gauges, and maybe repainted the wood-panelling in the same 'Fiat' yellow!! But it looks as though he has pulled the seats and door cards out of some modded up WRX, and plonked them straight in the 7!! It would probably help if the car was a 3 series too...

AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

For the life of me, I cannot even begin to imagine how somebody thought the Aztec body would sell. As a marketing professional, I realize that they were convinced there was a market, and most likely had some focus groups to come in and look over the designs. I mean where do you get a group of people to come in, look at that thing, and go, "Yeah man, you've got to build it! It's hot and I want one NOW!" The Aztec starts making the old AMC cars actually look good. I Aztecs on the street occasionally. All I can figure is that they must be discounting them like crazy to get people to take them. For me, if you want to see automotive art on wheels, look no further than most Aston Martins of the past 10 years, most Jags from the past 10 years, and of course the ultimate classic...the E34. I caught myself walking to my car after work the other day saying, "That is one fine looking automobile."

Grace and peace,

Robert K

I'd swear that's an E39 (from the steering wheel, and insturment cluster). The HVAC controls look totally unfamiliar, but it is not uncommon for there to be more HVAC choices in Europe than in the US (My M5 Touring has the Automatic A/C with the 2 mini-hockey-puck temp dials, for example)

More probably a M Individual interior, as those are readly avilable to European buyers. I've seen some really strange M Individual interors compared to this...

apparently, if it looks good or bad.
This E32 gets a E38 front and the owner invests a lot of money.
Only the outer skin of the hood is welded on the mechanism of the E32 hood. New/modified fenders and all the other modifications necessary to complete it.

well, I'd do the yellow EXTERIOR and a full black interior, but it seems a bit extreme. still cool, though :)

*dodges rocks*
heh. really though. its just.. odd.. imho.

did they sell well? and whats the interior like? if the interior is good and they drove we'll i'd say that was enough to save its special lookingness

I can't agree more, Robert. I heard that when GM couldn't move them, they forced the inventory on to their execs...so if you see someone driving one around (well, probably not these days since those guys turn over cars a few times a year), it may be a gm exec.

Truly a mistake though. GM needs serious help.
