Hello to all.

I am new to the forum with today's purchase of a 1990 535i, 5-sp, 104,000 mi., black over tan, solid condition. I am going to try and get some of the bugs worked out over the weekend, and would appreciate any input I could get. (Ordered the Bentley manual last week, but it doesn't look like it is going to arrive by the weekend). There are 3 things I am working on this, and I will post each seperately.

1) locks don't work....stuck open
2) a/c comp. clutch doesn't engage when the button is pushed
3) interior door panels

Solid condition?

Forgive me for being concerned, but given the nature of the problems, it sounds like the PO neglected the hell out of this car.

Regluing the door panels is an easy task, unless the vinyl is shrinking -- then it's a pain.
