Wipers Fixed, Windshield Replacement Help?

So the connecting nut to from the linkage to the motor was loose, tighetened it to 25 Ft Lbs this time and the wiper arms to 20 Ft Lbs... man is that tight for those nuts...

Anyways a rock/salt chunk chipped my windshield this weekend and the sun yesterday cracked the sucker.... Advice for replacement, in Mass we have glass coverage and I will probably pay the difference for dealer glass. Anything I shop note for the shop that replaces my windshield?

i think theres some issue about the clips and or moulding around the window, either you need to get new clips or the whole moulding... factory glass is softer then the replacement glass, theres pros and cons with both types.

I'll maybe buzz a dealer to check.... looked in ETK... those parts r expensive...

I want the dealer glass cause then all the windows are original and have the BMW symbol... makes a difference to some if I ever wanted to sell.

I just replaced my windshield for $150 labor included, good job too.

Honestly I don't think a tiny roundel on the windshield is going to be a deal maker/breaker.
