Interior leather colour code? Where?

1990 535i, looking to do the re-dye process, where do I find my lether colour code. I know that people will say that you need to send a sample, but in this case, per my previous thread, I am re-dying the entire interior as it is all completely discolored? :p

the code that wont match any of the leather dye places numbers is in the middle of the back seat. Move the center down and pull the leather flap thingie down and there should be the factory color code. What you should do when they tell you that number isnt any good is pull the back seat bottom out and cut a small 1" square from that.

I gave my VIN number to the local BMW dealer and they were able to tell me the color from that. If your seats had been switched, this way you'll get the actual, original intended color of the original car, via VIN. Leatheriqe will have the color you need on file, just need that VIN number to get the original color, I believe.
