Shadowline

A lot of posts use the" shadowline" word, but NOBODY defines what it is !!!
I am assuming its something to do with body paint/interior uphosltery.
OK, so I know Ive only been coming here for a short time and I am bound to thave missed it.
However, I did do a search, but all the occurances did not actually mention what it was.

Anyone got a definition/pic example ?

It is the strip that goes around the windows on the exterior of the car, it is black instead of chrome.

It is quite expensive to change to shadowline. Hre a more cheaper version
