Hello, I'm trying to replace my stock headlamps on my 1993 525i. I bought the Depo Angel Eye projector headlights. I've read the instructions on the www.bmwe34.net web site and on other web sites. The instructions aren't very detailed. Does anyone know how to remove the grill, or does anyone know of a good web site that has detailed instructions?

I've tried doing it, but I cant seem to release the tabs behind the R and L low beams. Please help. Thanks.

the release tabs have to be pushed down with a real long screwdriver or whatever from the top in front of the radiator, I dont know exactly how but I do remember that point.

Yes, the release tabs must be pushed down( located on out side corner of headlights) with screw driver( I taped the end for traction access is through holes on top of radiator support) there is also two tabs in the center section of the grill and a 10mm bolt on top in front of radiator( in side engine compartment)
If you have a Bentleys manual it show the location and procedure :p

it's not that tough.. just take the kidney pieces off.. and technically you can get if off by pulling.. but it's easier if you take a screwdriver first and undo one of the end bits by the corner indicator
