Default When are new pads/rotors ready for normal use

Assuming OE pads and the proper bedding-in procedure, how long before they can handle normal (ab)use?

OE pads are dusty as hell, use the raybestos ceramic pads if you havent already purchased them. Right after you bed the pads and let it cool cycle it is ready to go.

I like the performance of the OE pads, and wash my car every week.
