Why is it that...
the freaking minute I get on the ladder to install a ceiling fan my 5yo comes screaming in there and turns on the light switch. I gets the duct tape over it didn't mean anything. After I pickup my stuff from having to bail off the ladder my wife does the same thing. I finally locked the door and just my trusty bmw flashlight.
On the subject of fans, the quality of Hunter has really done to the dogs. 3 items were missing. Some of the instructions were very unclear, esp since they don't have pictures of what screw is what (when your up on a ladder isn't the time to have to decide WTF is the 6-32 and what is the 8-32). 1 major screw was missing (the instructions said use 2, the parts list said 1) and one of the supposedly threaded holes wasn't. I used to bitch about Chinese quality, this Mexican crap is worse. Next time I'll get a Hampton Bay, I installed 6 of those in the fall w/o a hitch.

Ever try the spankless discipline on your 5 year old?
"Much has been said about "tough love" for misbehaving children. I do not believe in such tactics. One tactic that I have found very effective is to take the child for a car ride and talk. They seem to calm down and stop misbehaving after our ride. No spanking is needed in our house, of course that choice is left up to each family. I've included a photo below for reference, best of luck."

Hehe, she has a broken wrist, a spanking is the last thing she'd need. I've never had to even threaten her with a spanking, she's a really good kid.
I enjoy spanking, but that is another thread in itself.
