    Default Blair's referendum on EEC

I know why Blair has done a U turn on Europe. In the past he has always refused to allow a vote as he knows he would lose.

He is sanctioning a referendum now because he wants to lose - he wants out of Europe! Why? Because if we are out of Europe then he can apply to become the next USA state and be govenor for his buddy Bush!

Default Go on then i'll bite........

Your right about Blair but i suppose if you have to choose between joining the united states of europe over the united states of america there isn't really a choice. The USA has the balance of world trade and power and europe has spiralling debt, unemployment and immigration problems. Not only that but the fuel is a lot cheaper in the USA,down here in the south west of england we are paying 88 pence per litre or £3.99 p per gallon for unleaded fuel............Thats over $7 a gallon for fuel...........Now thats a good reason for letting england be a us state .

Well gentlemen, the old chestnut "warm" beer raises it's ugly head.

Fear ye not my Trans-Atlantic friends - good English beer (Old Peculiar, Spitfire, Broadside, Old Roger, Death or Glory etc, etc,) is correctly served at "room temp". Given that this is Merry England and it's bleedin' cold any way that means the beer is pretty cold!

Any how, the only reason your beer is served so cold is to disguise the fact that it has no body or taste anyway!

Wish it was possible to email the taste of the aforementioned beers to you poor deprived Americans!

I think I had some Old peculiar around Cristmas time this year. Good stuff. I gotta have my beer Ice cold. Yep, that's cause you're drinking Milwaukee's Best Light Ice. It's good all you can taste is cold.
