I'm suprised we're not double-counting the enemy dead, but I guess it's not as PC these days to brag about enemy deaths as it was in Gen. Westmorland's days.

Are you on the information clearing house email list? Nice Links on that site btw.

Did you read up on the Bush family fortune? The Bring it on Memo? and Myths of the War on Terror?

Just wondering if a tin foil hat came with your propaganda membership.

Default Geoff, since you feel that thats for the tinfoil hat crowd, how about

some listings from good ol republican papers
    Or another

And here's one from the rightwing tinfoil hat bunch

Any way you want to look at it , it boils down to we are paying mercenary's big bucks to be over there while our soldiers are doing the same jobs for a lot less, and both of them are being paid by the US taxpayers.....And the reason that mercenary's are being used is not to difficult to figure out...

The day I post a link from Newsmax, I promise I will handout tinfoil hats for everyone.

I believe the term mercenary is being misused, by whomever uses it. A mercenary is a paid assassin. Contract killers for heavy cash.

If one can differentiate between lying, perjury, and intentionally making false and misleading statements under oath, then one shouldn't call an over qualified security detail of retired navy seals that are permitted to return fire only when fired upon, mercenaries. By Clintonian standards, the difference is as wide as Moses' partition of the red sea...that is to say you could drive a battallion through it.

    carry on

I guess I don't know the meaning of Mercenary then. My perception was that they were killers for hire.

I still don't think I'd call the KBR security details like the Blackhawks mercenaries, though at this point I'm ejecting to blasting others that do so.

    learn something everyday

    thanks Bill
