    Default Another OT Political Question

    Another OT political question.............................

For those of you (mainly conservatives I believe) who feel it is entirely appropriate for President Bush to use images from 9/11 in his campaign ads to demonstrate his leadership abilities here is s couple of questions:

1 - Would it also be appropriate for John Kerry to use images from 9/11, say for example, the North tower crumbling down, with text along the lines of "this happened on President Bush's watch"

2 - What exactly was it that President Bush did on 9/11 that made his leadership so great? Please be specific, because I can't think of a single thing he did to brag about that day.

Default I can't really think of anything 'significant' that he did that day either.

I dont believe that Bush is using the images to 'brag' about anything he did on that day. I believe that what the message is saying is that Bush was the president on the day of the worst attack in American history and I would believe he is trying to show that if he can lead a nation through a time like that then there's nothing he cant do or something along those lines.. I think he is using the images to just remind people of that day and who was leading the efforts to bring the attackers to justice. It's an important event in his presidency (perhaps the most important) and to not address it in some way would be wrong and would probably lead the liberals to think that he doesn't care about it. You could say its a catch 22/damned if you do, damned if you dont situation.

Also if Kerry were to use the video of the towers falling then he might as well give up his nomination for president. I do not think that would be appropriate at all.
