Hello, new to this site and hoping my problem is simple to fixOk here it is... about a month ago my husband was changing the oil and broke little cap with fluid level switch off the master cylinder. I was able to secure it back on but then the brake fluid level light went on. The level is fine and the guy at BMW said the broken cap shouldnt make a difference. However, that never seems to be the case with cars. Does the brake fluid light go on after a certain number of miles when the system needs to be changed? I havent had any problems with the braking but I sure dont want to. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I still believe its good to get your car to start, but its better when you can get it to stop!!
the level sensor is part of the cap, if the cap is broken the little contacts may be out of position, so ether the float is stuck or the contacts are shorted together
all america wants is cold beer warm pussy and a place to take a shit with a door on it
