is the avatar function working?

it seems that a few of us have uploaded profile pictures, and have had no success doing the avatar thing. are we screwing up? i know i have no idea what i am doing here, but i did figure out how to use my stolen copy of image ready and edit my gif so that it would accept it, so i can't be that bad

Eh, i think Ed (or Ilya or Wayne?) will need to turn on the custom option. There is only one available, that’s Ilya’s.
I have somethin else in mind.
It does werk tho.
