right now, there are some bugs that need to be worked out.
im talkign to the developers of vBulletin, hopefully they can help.

we're gonna have this test board up for about another week so everyone can get a feel of it.

version 2.3.3, which i installed originally, worked like a charm. however, it only had linear view to display posts, and some people still prefered the old threaded view like wwwboard. so, i upgraded to 3.0, and it has some bugs (after all, it's not a final release yet). if i can get them worked out, great. if not, i'll re-install 2.3.3 and see if people like it. if not, we wont change. if yes, we will.
you're looking at about January 1st-3rd as a possible 'official' date.

Threaded view is OK (not great but I can deal) bu PLEASE don't make a threaded view on the main window. I HATE that!!! Plus there is the major bonus of bumping threads (ie sorting by most recent reply). It was pretty annoying on wwwboard when a hot thread would die simply because it was pushed off the page.

Other than that, all I can say is it's about time!

One thing I notice is in "Threaded" view, it will say (for this page, for instance) Bahnstormer across the post he made but it will have a white blank area because i guess formatting pushes the text of his post underneath the title/username of the previous poster. If you get what I am saying. If I scroll down then back up, i can view the text from the top few posters, but not until I do that. Weird.

I noticed that too, but thought it was just my computer being an arse. Scroling up then down again fixes it for me.
