    Default WTB: Series 10

Still seeking some replacement style 10 wheels for the couple I ruined the finish on (learned the hard way that simple green left on aluminum will discolor the finish). I'll consider 1 to 4 of the 17x8's and if I'm lucky enough to locate some 17x9's I would need a minimum of 2 rear.....let me know what you got and how much.

Maybe you could buy them from the federal bureau of imagination, cause i doubt that you'll find any here on planet earth. I have 15x7 style 10s, which should be easier to find than yours, and no one ever has them for sale. I think that the market that got style 10s in greatest quantity was NZ/Australia, so I wish you luck.

    According to this site http://felgenkatalog.auto-treff.com/

You can get style 10's in 17x8 & 17x9 for E32/E34/E39 fitments. Never seen any personally in that size. Actually have only seen one E34 with them and they looked to be the 15x7's.

I'm in Oz and I've seen them before. I'll try to keep an eye out for them, but they are very rare here for sure. The ones I know with are #10 'Sternspeichen-Styling', (we got loads of 15x7s on 525 models in the early 90s) but the #10 Sternspeiche II looks familiar too.

Freight from here would be a killer though. If it is just colour, why not powder coat your rims?

Clean them up nice and smooth (ie remove any paint they have on them) and drop them to a powder coating line in some industrial area where they make metal stuff. If you want to spec the colour to be different form what they have going through the line it will cost more, but it is not bad- and easily the hardiest finish you'll get for a wheel with brake dust etc.

Have doneit before with great results, and will do it again on my #9 turbines and throwingstars as soon as I can find the time

Thanks everyone, I knew it was going to be a challenge but figured that so many people are switching rims to something unique and that might increase my chances of finding some take-offs.

I would just replace them but my favorite aftermarket would be the BBS RK's and well those are a little tough to find and pricey.

I may have to,as genphreak mentioned, just have mine refinished.

    thanks again,
