Hello guys, up for sale is my 1987 BMW 535iS (e28) 5 speed. I bought this car in October 2007. I am the second owner. The original owner bought the car brand new in 1987 from Circle BMW back when it was located in Shrewsbury, NJ. I’m a BMW enthusiast and have invested a lot of money and time into the car to bring it back to life. Car came with every option from the factory, including LSD. I’ve replaced countless parts in order to make it a superb daily driver. The car is in beautiful condition for its age and mileage. I have service records for the car since it was new. The previous owner rebuilt the head/headgasket at 100k miles. Car is really in great condition, very minimal dings and scratches. The paint really cleans up nice, it shines with depth. The car has 260k miles. Believe me, you are NOT going to find a car like this any cleaner in the area, they are getting very hard to find of in this condition and not beaten or rusted out in some backyard. This car has been extremely reliable to me and has never let me down, I really hate to let it go.

The good:
Car is in impeccable shape for its age, I receive compliments on it all the time. Engine is very healthy and will pull straight till redline. Sans the rear windows, all of the electronics work, even the automatic headrests and seat bolsters. The interior is in great condition minus the rip on the side of the drivers seat.
The bad:
Although the car is in excellent shape for its age please keep in mind it is 22 years old. There are several issues with the car. There is some rust in the rear bumper shocks and in the front rocker panels behind the front wheels. The rust is not visible from the exterior of the car and is very typical for the e28 chassis and is very minor. The rear windows are also pretty much inoperable. The passenger rear window works but takes a lifetime to roll itself up. The drivers seat is ripped on the side from going in and out of the car for 22 years. The passenger side foglight is cracked. It also could use subframe bushings and a rear drivers side shock mount.
