I think I'm about to be in the market for an e30.

It must be a manual, and perferrably dark in color. (I'd pay a premium for Black on Burgendy!!!!)

The exterior must be in good shape, although for a mint engine i'd take bare steel with no bumpers and no seats

It can't smoke, and there can't be any body damage. It can't loose more than a small ammount of oil unless you can prove it's from a leak. I don't want a car that needs new pistion rings and cylinder honing 6 months after i buy it.

I'm willing to pay around 6KUSD, and i'm located in Florida. I'd be willing to fly to your location, provided you can pick me up at the airport.

I also have a '94 530i in very good shape with about 120k on it i'd be willing to trade, if you're interested. (alusil block, white/tan, lots of work done)

electrical problems are no big deal, neither are maintance items or anyhting suspension-wise (within reason). in-operative windows/locks etc aren't a huge deal either, especailly if you've got a goody like sports seats.

The only interior items i request be in good shape are the dash board/headlinner/center console.

My top prioriety is engine/transmission longevity, everything else comes second.
