PS hose leak 89'525i(m20)....couple of other questions...TIA

have had this slow leak from my power steering hose, i usually top off the fluid once every 3 months. im planning to order parts from BMA, Gearbox to Reservoir, Reservoir to Steering Pump. Do i need to order any other part?


Another thing where can i buy OEM tool set for E34's.... my car has no tools at all at the trunk im the 2nd owner and didn't notice that there's no tools when i got the car


Lastly when i let go of the steering wheel on a straight path the car moves to the right. it never stays straight or move to the left always on the right side.tire pressure are all even. Do i need to get wheel alignment?

If your PS hoses are leaking at the reservoir, which is typical, try simply loosening the factory hose clamps, pulling the hoses off the reservoir, cutting about an inch off of each, and replacing them with small hose clamps which screw tight. It's cheaper and even easier than new hoses.

I was able to put together an inexpensive set of BMW tools on e-bay.

Several things could cause the steering issue. I'll let the pros answer.

Ken,

Get a front wheel alignment from a respectabe shop - don't let them talk you into a front + back alignment, its a scam. E34s only get aligned in the front, the back is non adjustable.
