 I really really beleive that we have only one posting forum.........so when you log on you dont have to trolling through 5 or 6 forums to see what every body is up to and so on....maybe the others will be kinda live archives or something.
Gone but not forgotten
thanks for the input.
like ed and i have stated before, every single comment will be taken into consideration.
some people like having multiple forums, while some like having just 1 for everything.
myself, i like the separations, beacuse for me its easier to find what im looking for that way. but once again, that is my opinion.
Except maybe there should be separate forums for classifieds and OT.Originally Posted by Paul in NZ

Third vote for one forum!
Maybe there could be a drop down check box to categorize initial posts for archival purposes.

How the forums are broken down right now, it seems that one forum with them combined would be better.
Multiple forums would be good, but they need to be separate topics. Maybe a general discussion area, a for sale section, an off topic area. Definately have the first three then maybe a DIY area or a modifications forum, just something that doesn't overlap too much.
ok yeah i see waht you mean, and i kinda agree with you
right now, while the forum is still just starting up, ther ewont be too many posts so 1 forum might be ok (one just for talking about repair./maintenance etc). i still think that once we get a ton of posts it would be better to split them up by forums. ill talk to Ed when he gets back
I'm very much in favor of one forum, or maybe two, with one being NWS stuff. My biggest fear about this new forum is the effect of style over content, and the type of posters similar forums seem to attract. That said, I do like the forum and appreciate the effort that is going into bringing it up.Originally Posted by Martin in Bellevue

I agree with ilya. The separate forums make it easier to find things. If you just want to see what's going on with no particular organization, use the "New Posts" page.
On discussion boards that I use a lot, I use that as my entry page to the forum.
For this one, you could make your link point to here, "New Posts" and you should see things the way you want to.
