Sorry A1 -- I think the only way to accomplish the task is a) get the peake tool, or b) have someone or some place with the appropriate diagnostic computer perform a reset (autologic or modic II and higher would do the trick).

best, whit

The normal Peake reset tool will not reset the SRS light, only the check engine light. Does Peake make one to do the SRS?

Default The peake srs reset tool will only work on 94 and

newer, i bought one and it would not work on 89,90 and 91 that i tried it on.. Then peake changed their website to read 94 and up.. I called them and they agreed that it wouldn't work and refunded my money.

Default I sent one to a friends shop who has the snap on mt2500 that

winfred and most of the shops around here use...For myself i'm looking at some of the software based palm pilot ones that are a little cheaper, hoping to find one with multiple manufacturer capabilities...

Do these work on the OBD1 cars? All I've seen are OBD2 versions.
