    FB Marketplace is a bit of a splattered cat. Not only is it Facebook, but the search function is weak.
    I live in CA and they are on CL all the time. SF, Sacramento, LA. Just peeked at CL SF and saw several, even one 57,000 mile creampuff. Crazy high price, but pristine.

    Are you looking from a smartphone or another mobile device? The desktop version of the marketplace allows searching by model, year, price range, and most importantly transmission type. I was able to find a couple of cars in my area quickly.

    Just hate FB but looked at it again. I am on desktop but not seeing search functions like you describe. Huh, will have to do some research...

    Facing the desktop, on facebook site, go to Marketplace, then Vehicles. Once in Vehicles, scroll down to find transmission type, with other specific search options.
