I guess you're looking at the 321 bhp version of the E36 M3. I don't know how much hp these M3's have in the States and howmany the 330 has over there, here the 330i have 231 hp. If it's performance you're looking for, supercharging the 330 will give you a very fast car, maybe even faster than the 321 M3 version, but it will not handle as good as the M3. You will need to splash out alot of cash to make it handle as good as the M3 and even after splashing it all out, you still won't have a BMW M model, just a "common" 330i.
