Just posting for my own confusion.

Okay I was visualizing this incorrectly. Exhaust opens first so advancing crank degrees retards the exhaust and advances the intake.

He retarded the intake 14 degrees and
advanced the exhaust 6 degrees

So what I did was advance the cams appx 6 degrees which
advanced the intake 6 degrees and
retarded the exhaust 6 degrees.

So to get the intake right I have to adjust both intake and exhaust all over because the intake sprocket is chained to the exhaust... So do intake correct -12 degrees and tighten, then move crank x degrees to advance the exhaust to where it is right now.

Maybe, not sure. Degreeing a single cam was not confusing at all... lol
