mb40 into mb30 e34 Swap the thing
looks to be simple, not sure in a driveway tho. I always hated the limp power of this 3.0 since I got it. Looking at cams, timing, intake mods and all I got it it don't turn on till 3600rpm. This is with a 3:64 rear gear, car still limp as a bad drunk. Nikky was a turn on, she was fun and take on anything on the freeway... this thing is a slug.
Bought a 540 donor trans wigged. Will try to revive the trans since a low tire can trigger the trans code. I do think it is bad tho. Never know, might use the existing 5hp18 temporarily. Nothing definitive yet.
I am lost as bad as a lost soldier right now. Some say it can be done as well as some say time bomb of the trans.
