Installed a rebuilt driveshaft
I have been having problems with vibration through the car mainly / significantly when accelerating hard from standstill. I had replaced other items I could think of such as the center bearing and subframe bushes.
I got this driveshaft from Rustam on here. He took the stock universal joints out and added new GMB ones which seem stronger than Meyle, and contain circlips and grooves to hold the joints. I have a picture (last one) of the sizes of the different joints. There is stock, GMB and Meyle. Note narrow shaft on Meyle.
I never got the driveshaft balanced. I have no vibration issues anymore. I will take up the car up to speed to see how it goes but so far so good.
