I looked at a pristine 740iL today. The owner, a BMW enthusiast had it up for sale in my development. It has 84,000 miles and every extra imaginable inlcuding navigation, self-leveling, and many other options including MP3, cassette, and multi-disk cd. Also it is blue tooth ready. It has not a mark on it and has been garage kept and hand washed, synthetic oil used. The guy that owns it is in his 40s and drives it 120 miles a day. When he purchase it 3 years ago it had 30,000 miles so the long commute has racked up most of the highway miles.

I have been considering a 740i for a while but this looks like a really good deal. What problems can be expected of this car as it ages. The owner wants $21,000 which is right in line with the Kelley Blue Book for a private sale. Any and all thoughts would be appreciated. Oh, I did drive the car and it felt like brand new.
