Even if you succeed to unlock the car
[QUOTEand battery went flat over night][/QUOTE]
there is a problem.
Maye we get more infor from you
the battery must be on its last legs, you left the lights on or there is a current draw.
Gone but not forgotten
left the interior light on, the battery was stuffed, i managed to unlock it using the emergeny unlock technique ( i wasn't turning hard enough the first few times i tried it), i have now replaced the battery and all is good. Thanks.
And what else has been happening with the E34, Luke??
Care to enlighten us???
Gone but NEVER forgotten. :'(
And then...
Just a little tip - WD40 the lock to clean the crap out of it. I had a hard time emergency unlocking my car too, then figured it would be a good idea to clean the locks. Shortly afterwards emergency unlocking it became a breeze. I found my juice leak too - the f***ing boot switch for the boot interior lights is stuffed.Originally Posted by luke01
