nail in the tire?
About a month ago I stopped at a nieghbor's house on my street after coming home from work to pick up my son. When I drove off i heard a clicking in the front that increased the faster i went. This only happens when I stop somewhere for a very brief spell (like picking up the kids or dropping of a movie). The clicking persists for a little while then stops.
What is it? Is it my transmission?
Thanks,
Michael

i've had nails, duct tapes stuck on tires etc, but they never stopped. Maybe he just can't hear it due to increased noise at higher speeds? i'm just guessing
.

You're most likely picking up small rocks in the treads that eventually fling off. Especially if you have all weather tires.

I'm going to take it in for some service soon and I'll have them check the fan belt link and tie rods. Tread is pretty good.Originally Posted by 632 Regal
