    Default In-dash CD player for 94 525

Any suggestions for a relatively cheap in-dash CD player for my E34 94 525? I don't want anything fancy, just something that plays CDs (I currently just have stock cassette radio). I'll probably buy used off EBAY, but I don't know which fit and look good in E34. I've heard Alpine's are good, but which ones?

    Also, how much to install?

Default search the forum for head units and you should find some good ideas

I have a black clarion DXZ535 w/ the ability to colormatch the unit to the dash. I miss that weatherband tho. paid $125 shipped.

install is tricky but do-able for the technically uninclined. detailed instructions on bmwe34.com. you can email me for some extra tips as well. good luck

I just installed the Clarion myself. A very good unit for the money although a very tight fit. Forget about E-Bay for used electronics, I've been burned once to often.

Default installed a Sony CD/MP3 player.

Don't need a cd changer anymore. Each subdirectory behaves like an album.
