Where to find Door Handle Seals

Seals that go around the door handles are cracked, weathered, and look nasty. Where to find new ones? I tried BMA, but couldnt' find in the catalog.

According to the seller (and since it was on ebay you know it's true), BMW will make you replace the entire handle thing. But his auction was for the seals only and thus saves you 100 Billion Dollars. I tried to locate the auction, couldn't find it. Sry

you get the seals with the outside part of the door handle surround,which IS sold seperately.look in the etk again.I couldnt find the part number for the front doors but the part is shown on the rear door...

Tis true, you get outer portion of the door handle (the surround, if you will) and the rubber backing. They are a PITA to replace and would reccomend making it a two person job (one to pull the hook and latch it into place, another to squeeze the ever-loving life out of it to get it to catch).

I saw an auction for the seals on ebay (but the dude was in indonesia). 10 bux for a pair. However, rubber is something that needs to be manufactured carefully. If not, the seal will crack within a year if it hasn't bee UV treated, etc... Still looking for the right answer.

they are easy to replace if you know how.. you just have to be careful that you don't drop the handle on the ground ( i dropped mine and had to get it re-painted.. )

Sold together and are quite expensive from dealers (Never tried BMA though).

I bought a set from the same guy in Indoesia, they fit perfect and haved not cracked yet.

The guy is shipping from Malaysia, not far from Indonesia ;-).
But in any case I have already heard that this seller (Kenneth Woo)seems to be trustfull, know of some people who bought from him and were satisfied.

Probably these gaskets are made anyway there in Malaysia for BMW.

Edit: as we have some members here from Malaysia: is there a possibility that you can find out the source locally and sell to the members directly without a middle man on Ebay?
