    Default Thermostat replaced Check engine light on

    I replaced the thermostat but the check engine light is still on. The light came on 30 seconds before she turned it off, so I can't imagine any other problem, I am assuming that the code is in the memory. Is there a way to reset the code? The temp is running fine now. It's a 2000 528i.

    Default You have to reset it with a scan tool.. any obdII scan tool should work.
