Default blower motor works on '4' only-1, 2, & 3 went out at the same time.

Judging by the other threads dealing with this topic, I imagine it's the 'sword'. But would there be another reason that levels 1-3 went out at the same time? thanks

sword if you had an older E34, you have the simple, cheap resistor pack that's housed above the accelerator pedal. There's a writeup on www.bmwe34.net about it. call up BMA for the part 1-888-262-3911

that year should have a resister stuck into the drivers side (usa cars) it should be blue and a couple inchs square, sometimes it's just the thermal fuse that dies on the resister and with some skill you can wire in a fuse to get it going, but a new resister is only $12 list so it's not really screwing with

THANKS! $12.20 (US) for the resistor pack and five minutes work and the blower motor is working perfectly.
