Parking Light/Turn Signal Question

My passenger side turn signal won't burn. I looked at the harness, the bulb, checked it with another bulb the does burn, but still no dice.

When I turn on my turn signal - it flashes. It just won't burn when I turn on my corner/parking lights. It trips the CPU warning when I turn on my headlights.


Just tired of seeing the same warning come on day after day.

Can anyone throw me a bone here?

The front turn indicator/park lamps have a dual capacity and should have 2 filaments and dual contact points on the base (see bulb in pic below). If the base only has one contact point...then it will only function in one capacity.

(notice the 2 contact points on the base of this front turn indicator bulb...this is from my e38...but the concept is the same on the e34)
