Default Is this normal 535 ? or has something gone wrong ?

Hello I am still a 'new' BMW owner, so still finding out.

    1.
My electric windows do not have what I call 'one click up-down' ... I have to keep my finger on the switch to make them go all way up or down.
Other makes of car of similar age (1990) have had this, so ...
Is this normal ? or has something gone wrong ?

    2.
The OBC display lights up at night, but the buttons dont, so I cant see them to touch at night.

Default When I got my 535i, the one-touch feature on the

driver's window and the sun roof did not work. This, and other marginal electrical problems were solved by servicing all fuse terminals and inline multipin connectors with Stabilant 22. www.stabilant.com Now, everything works correctly, the turn signal flashes faster, and the instrument lights are brighter.

There are 3 light bulbs in the OBC. The one in the back is for the buttons. Guess you need to replace that one. I think there is a procedure on www.bmwe34.net

Not sure if I'm being a bit too basic here but the one touch on the drivers window and sunroof are a little different to some other makes (and some newer beemers) in that to get them to work you give them a quick jab instead of other cars who often have a soft touch for normal openings and a hard press for the one touch.

Sunroof I often have to give it a second of pressing the button let it go then a quick jab stirs it into one touch action.

Default All my windows go down with one touch, ...

only driver's go up. It's for a safety reason. Sunroof is like driver's window. It is not switch related, it's GM controled.
