Default My rear side window is clicking when I raise it.

Does anybody have any ideas on whats going on with my rear side window?
Starting this morning, when I raise the rear window there is a clicking sound like it is missing a tooth on a gear. It goes down ok with no sound.
    thanks in advance.

Nice pic. I have the same problem with my rear driver side window.

Thanks for saving me time to troubleshooting the problem.

Does anyone know if you can purchase the broken item with out having to purchase the entire motor? Or is it a good idea to replace the motor while it's out?

Try BMA (www.bmaautoparts.com), ask for Patrick or Ives, tell them the folks at bimmer.info sent you.

    Default Thanks Bill R.

It's nice to know what to expect before you tear into something.
