Default Proper e34 warning triangle? cannot find one

I have tried to buy a BMW warning triangle for my e34 with no luck. I tried the dealer and BMA. They both say it is unavailable. The e34 part number is 71601179041. Is there any sort of cross refrence to which warning triangles will fit into the e34 trunk tool kit/box?

E-Bay has several but they look a bit different than my etk illustrates.

For that matter I would like the "polishing cloth" but is not available either. I just want to finish my trunk tool kit

    Default I keep trying-Thanks

I just cannot tell which triangles will fit in the e-34 tool box. There appears to be many styles. I suspect any of the 5 and/or 7 series (perhaps otheres) from the mid 90s should work. Think I will check my etk. I will also keep looking on e-bay. The proper triangle will come along.

    Default Thanks-but

I have yet to find a junkyard in central Kentucky with many BMWs. Also many/most of the american BMWs did not come with the warning triangle, as i understand it.

    Default How much! -thanks

How much to get the correct one (must fit in the tool kit) for a 95 525i e-34 and shipping cost to Lexington, KY 40502.

If you want to contact me off-forum you can do so at Plan1@insightbb.com. BTW, I can never tell if the ones on e-bay will fit in the tool kit and I hold off even bidding.

This is great! Little things like this make me happy. I know get a life

Wow, maybe we should do a european "group buy" on warning triangles! I think I have maybe one or two of the tools left in that tool kit. I wonder where they all end up? My E30 was the same way, only one or two tools left in the kit. Someday I'll have to get motivated and re-outfit the tool kits.
